Will COVID-19 affect my order?

We're working hard to keep everything moving. Here's what you need to know about your order and Coronavirus

The recent outbreak of Coronavirus is affecting many industries and individuals. We understand that you likely have some concerns about placing an order or about existing orders in light of the issues COVID-19 is having on some supply chains. Luckily, it is business as usual here at Bluespot.

We are working hard to ensure that all orders are fulfilled and delivered when you expect them, whether you're a business or are shopping for your home office. Here's what you need to know about our services, stock and delivery while restrictions due to Coronavirus are ongoing:

26th May 2020 update

Due to the delays being experienced by our courier, we have altered our delivery timeframes. As a result, we are not currently offering Next Day Delivery right now. This is a temporary measure until our courier is able to resolve the issues they have been experiencing as a result of the coronavirus, which have led to some orders being delayed after they leave our warehouse.

Express Delivery will now see your order delivered within 1-3 working days, with same-day dispatch for orders placed before 1pm. Free Delivery orders will arrive within 7-10 working days. An estimated delivery date will be provided in your order confirmation email, but please bear these delivery timeframes in mind as we are not currently able to guarantee a delivery on a specific day.

Deliveries can arrive at any time up to 6pm and, unfortunately, we are not able to provide a delivery window or tracking information.

We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause you and we will update our delivery timeframes as soon as possible.

18th May 2020 update

While we here at Bluespot Furniture are operating as normal and are able to get all orders dispatched as expected, our courier has been experiencing some delays. Due to the coronavirus, our courier is dealing with staff shortages and depot closures, which are affecting some of our deliveries.

In a small number of cases, orders are being delivered in two parts on two separate days. Some orders are also being delayed after they have left our factory, so are not arriving on the expected delivery date. In both cases, we are working with the courier to keep our customers up to date on where their order is and when it is due.

If you require an update on an order or if you have not yet received your delivery, please contact our customer service team by phone on 0800 804 4760 and have your order number at the ready.

We apologise for any potential delays and the inconvenience they may cause. We also thank you for your patience and understanding while Covid-19 has an effect on deliveries.

4th May 2020 update

To ensure the safety and wellbeing of our staff, as well as to make sure we are able to continue taking and fulfilling orders as normal, we will be closing our factory and offices on the following day:

  • Monday, May 11th

As usual, we will also not be open on the Bank Holidays this month (Friday, May 8th and Monday, May 25th). This means that we will not be dispatching orders or responding to customer service enquiries on these days. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

We are also altering our opening hours going forward. While our website will still be open for orders 24//7, our offices will be operating under slightly reduced hours, which will affect when we are available to answer your queries. Our current standard opening times (except for Bank Holidays and the above dates) are:

Monday: 9am - 5pm

Tuesday: 9am - 5pm

Wednesday: 9am - 5pm

Thursday: 9am - 5pm

Friday: 9am - 3.30pm

During these times, we will be available to help you with orders, answer queries and deliver the same fantastic customer service you have come to expect from us.

We are following government safety guidelines

The safety, health and wellbeing of our staff and customers are of the utmost importance to us. While we want to keep the business running as normal, we are well aware that we need to do everything we can to stop the spread of Covid-19 while manufacturing and delivering your orders.

This is why we are keeping an eye on the ever-changing situation and following government and NHS advice in order to protect you and every member of our team. If you want to ask us any questions about the precautions we are taking, as well as your order, our products or your delivery options, please contact our customer service team.

We manufacture our products in the UK

All of our manufacturing is done right here in the UK but we do order some furniture parts from other countries. However, the fact that we build our products in the UK means that we don't have any supply issues and can get products to you quickly.

All of our products are made to order, so no matter what size desk or filing cabinet you need, we're able to produce it and have it delivered via your chosen delivery method.

In the unlikely event that we do experience any problems that could cause your order to be delayed, we will keep you informed every step of the way and find a solution that suits you.

Delivery options

All of our standard delivery options are still available, so you can choose how and when your order is delivered:

  • Express Delivery - Order by 1pm for same-day dispatch and delivery within 1-3 working days.
  • Free Delivery - Available on all orders, this economy option will deliver your order within 7-10 working days.
  • Delivered and Installed - Available on orders of over £1,000, we will deliver and install your furniture within 15 working days.

We use UK dispatchers for fast delivery, which means that as long as they are still operating, we are still able to get your furniture to you.

In the instance that any of our couriers pause their services, we will let you know what this means for your order.

Rescheduling your delivery

If you can't be at the delivery address on the day your order is due, you can reschedule your delivery for a more suitable day - such as when your office is open again.

In order to reschedule your delivery, please call our helpful customer service team on 0800 8044 760 before 1pm on the working day prior to your scheduled delivery date.

Our team will be able to take you through your options - whether that's rescheduling or delaying your delivery until a later date - in order to find the best solution for your current situation.

If you have chosen the Delivery and Installation option, you can reschedule your delivery up to a week from your order date.

Whether you reschedule or delay your delivery, you don't need to worry about your product going out of stock, as your order will secure your office furniture even if you aren't having it delivered straight away.
